Noche Buena Christmas Dinner in the Philippines
Christmas (Pasko) Dinner in the Philippines is called the “Noche Buena”. This is the one dinner in the entire year when the entire Filipino family gets together and eats; from the parents to the their children to their grand children. Even children who are in the USA, UK or OFWs try very hard to be home for Christmas. Every member of the Filipino family is required to be in the noche buena. Here is a photo log of our family’s noche buena last Christmas 2008. Enjoy viewing these Noche Buena photos. Paskong Pilipino sa Pilipinas.

Looks good! You did not show the suman! Is it white, green, or purple inside?BTW kindly redo the dessert tag;it should spell GRAHAM-you made me look for a ham that is gray.

Hearing “noche buena” excites me and i miss it so much. But But i’d like to comment about the presentation of the food, some look good like the kalamay and suman but some look so unpleasant like the burned chicken, and i can’t remember crispy pata is a traditional noche buena dish because eating it at midnight could heighten your blood pressure that will lead to heart attack. Many people aside from us can see these things So make a good presentation. Sorry.

john, Filipinos love chocolates, especially foreign brand chocolates. You would understand if you were a Filipino.
Also, what are traditional Filipino noche buena dishes? None! Noche buena dishes are what the host (in most cases the mother of the house) decides to cook for their family and friends.
