Serendra Dining Strip: A Wold of Taste
By Excel V. Dyquiangco
A fusion of world-class dishes blends seamlessly in a chic and modern lifestyle dining at Serendra in The Fort. For call center agents who would want to have a taste of just about everything anywhere in the world, then they don’t have to look far: Serendra pleases various palates yearning for more than just coffee.
Like a concoction of your favorite dish, made with a tad bit of everything, and soothing appetizers to taste, Serendra offers Thai, Vietnamese, Italian, Hawaiian, Brazilian, Japanese, Chinese and of course, Filipino meals.
For starters, for just as low as Php350, diners can now avail of sumptuous and mouth-watering meals at Thai at Silk, a Thai restaurant with all the green elements of leaves and plants to give a relaxed atmosphere to consumers. Available also are champagne, wine, coffee and tea.
Anyone craving for seafood, or a little bit spicy chicken or meat, then they could try out Zao, which means Life, a Vietnamese restaurant. They can avail of a complete meal here for a little less than PhP200. And when tired of the usual Filipino-made spaghetti and lasagna, try out Balducci Restaurant, an Italian restaurant, which serves meals for as low as PhP500. And of course, they do offer pasta.
A Japanese restaurant, Tatami, is also ripe for the picking, which has sushi, and anything raw, as their entrees. Agents can avail a complete meal here for as low as PhP500. And surprise, surprise, they serve ice cream for desserts!
Just like its name, Brazilian Restaurant, is a brazilian restaurant, which serves beef, pork, chicken, lamb and sausages in a buffet tray. Again, meals here are worth close to PhP500.
A Hawaiian-themed restaurant, Polu Kai Grill, which means Blue Ocean, comes complete with assortment of dishes which take consumers to a world of leis and surfing. They serve grilled fish, a giant squid chopped into pieces, and pizzas. And Hawaiians love pizzas. A complete meal here costs as low as PhP300.
Located among these restaurants is the Tea and Therapy, a Chinese restaurant, which offers tea, of course, cakes and meals in a bento box, for as low as PhP560.
And of course, the Filipino restaurant, Abe, serves mainly Kapampangan dishes.
There are also different dessert and pastry shops in the area such as Café Mary Grace (which has enseymada as their most sought-after meryenda), Conti’s, dishes that make use of a family recipe, Chelsea, which offers cakes and pastries also, Larry’s Café and Bar, Miss Desserts, Bookworm Cafe and Fez.
Anyone who is inclined to go to Serendra not just for the food would have fun in their other shops: bookstore A Different Bookstore, photography studio Blow up Babies, dress shops Souk, Mia Bella, art galleries Vente and Galerie Raphael, a clock shop Hermle.
There are also others such as: Play and music for children Gymboree, furniture shop Collezione Europa, wood works Luna, vintage shops Mantra, gold furniture shop Pharaoah, appliance center Monogram Experience Center, Hossein – Persian, Indian and Arabian culture, and ware shop Carnevale.
So you see, Serendra is the new place to be. Especially when you’re appetite is craving for the international cuisine.
