Sanfo Treats shop at Fun Ranch in OrtigasChocolates and candies seem to be the ideal food for snacks and dessert. But when it comes to nutrition, then what better way to do it than to mix it with fruits such as apples and bananas? Then voila! The result would be a sweet taste of chocolates and apples, bananas – guilt-free desserts from Sanfo Treats!

Located at Fun Ranch, Frontera Verde, right at the prime district of Ortigas and barely three months in operation, the little dessert store already has a following. Surprisingly, most of their customers are the adults. This fact made the owners of the store, husband and wife, Gerald Javier and Rochelle Santiago laugh.

“People come here to buy snacks,” Rochelle says. “We thought it was for their children but little did we know that it was for themselves.”

Sanfo Treats got its inspiration from San Francisco in the US. “We named it so since San Francisco sells caramel apples,” she said. “I have eaten these as a dessert and snacks while staying abroad, and I just thought of bringing them here.”

The many healthy flavors of Sanfo TreatsDipped in golden caramel, with sprinkles, nuts or sweets, each apple and banana is individually handmade and designed by Rochelle herself – an interior designer by profession. She not only designs rooms or houses, she also designs food.

Gerald and Rachelle use not only red apples but for their customers who want a little bit of tangy taste, they also use green apples.

The following is a list of their apple products and customers can choose from a variety of toppings.
